Today I’m celebrating 20 years with one of mine, and I’m so grateful for the trust, the laughs, the stories, and all the seasons we’ve shared. Thank you for sitting in my chair for two decades. Today I realized I’ve been doing hair for 29 years, which means I’ve officially spent more time holding a comb than holding my life together. 😂✂️

In nearly three decades, I’ve seen it all:
• Bang trims that healed emotional crises
• Color corrections that required prayer, snacks, and extra deodorant!
• Clients who’ve stayed with me and have become my best friends and even family!
• And enough foil to wrap the entire Earth like a giant leftover burrito 🌯✨

I’ve witnessed people grow up, get married, have babies, chop it all off, grow it back, chop it off again… and through all the phases, I’ve been lucky enough to be part of their lives. Hair has always been the excuse — connection has always been the gift. ❤️

To everyone who’s sat in my chair over the last 29 years: thank you for trusting me with your hair, your stories, your tears, your jokes, your “just one more inch,” and your “I swear I won’t cut my hair at home again.” (You will. And I’ll fix it. We both know how this works.)

Here’s to 29 years of hairspray, heart-to-hearts, and high-quality gossip. And here’s to many more — because let’s be honest: I’m not sure I even remember how to do anything else. 😉
