A new chapter is dawning here at the apothecary!

Almost a year ago, I accepted a full time position at my “day job”, which left me very little time for my sweet apothecary. I shoved it to the back burner because thinking of it all really overwhelmed me.

I will be adding remedies and tinctures to my list, all made by myself and WAY better than other brands that fill them with junk.

I also want to add house cleaners, a children’s line, and an intimate line. Lots of growth will be going on!

I’m admittedly terrible at working for other people knowing I’m making their dreams a reality while mine get shoved aside. So, next Friday, September 22nd (fall equinox), I will be fully committing to the apothecary again and will have a grand re-opening that weekend!!

Today is not the day for a live demo. I know many of you have your heart and mind occupied with current events. I have made the choice to send love and comfort to those affected instead of going live. If you could just take one minute, think of a moment in your life where you felt absolute unconditional love and allow that to fill you up…really feel it…and then imagine sending that love out until it blankets the entire planet, the world would be better for it.

It’s a tad too chilly for me to sit outside today, but perhaps next week I can refill my bucket with Nature’s awesome energy.

My thoughts and my love go out to the human beings of the world and any who can use it or will accept it can have it. Anyone.

The last few years have been under a blanket of fear. For me, it’s a reminder to live your very best life. Be your very best self. Become resilient to the vibrations that don’t feel so good. We all have a super power to contribute so don’t hide it anymore! Today should be a reminder that we don’t always know what is coming, so make the best of right now.

I almost quit. I almost said I just can’t do it anymore. I was working full time outside my home and full time inside my home with no time to just enjoy life a little along the way.

That little voice inside whispers, “Look at all these people doing more than me…doing better than me. Who am I to be worthy of success? Who would want me to help them?”

I have had busy times, so busy I can’t keep up, and it scares the daylights out of me. The fear is so real inside, everything just stops. Orders stop. I stop. Motivation stops. I fear letting people down more than I want to be successful. I sabotage myself.

I have grown into a space where I can recognize this in me. All I can do is sit with it and learn from it. When I feel my confidence is non existent, I seem to get a message from a customer who tells me my products are the best or they love a product so much I’d better never stop making it. I get messages like: you have a customer for life!

These small but very significant things surround me in a bubble of self worth and confidence. It’s these virtual sentiments that fuel my motivation to push beyond my fears to climb to the next level of my goals.

Thank you to my customers who appreciate my time and effort in making them stellar products that are designed to make them healthier, even if they don’t realize it. Thank you to my customers who allow me to borrow their energy behind their encouraging words to keep going.

I’m a tiny business today, bigger than I was a year ago, and determined to build my brand one happy customer at a time. I only make the best because I feel YOU deserve the best. Introducing… my Makeup Starter Kit!!

This is my Makeup Starter Kit. This is the three products that work together to stay put and to smooth your face without a masking effect. I want your natural beauty to shine, not cover it up.

To use:
Apply Makeup Primer to clean skin. It will have a slightly sticky feeling to help the Foundation sit on the skin. This step is a must for natural makeup. You need such a tiny amount, maybe the size of a pea or just a tiny bit more. You want a thin coat for your foundation to cling to.

Then, rub the foundation until it liquifies and dot on skin. Use a brush or sponge to blend. Fingers may leave streaks.

(You would apply Concealer/Highlighter here if you want to.)

(You would apply Cheek Rouge here if you want the color.)

To set everything in place and matte any shine, use a fluffy brush to apply sparingly to face. I use the lid to knock off any excess.

Natural makeup is a little different than chemical laden commercial makeup. You don’t need much and the goal is not to create a false face. The goal is to even out your skin in color and texture. Natural makeup will not cover everything you have for a totally different face.

Creamy eye shadows! This is the Lilac Tree Collection for spring!

Lilac Purple
Lilac Blue
Twig

These apply well with a brush or finger, maybe even a small sponge. Being a cream, layering might enhance color.

I formulated these to be opaque, yet subtle to showcase your own natural beauty. Lilac Purple is more sheer. You can use my highlighter mid lid for that splash of shine.

Concealer/highlighter!! Yes, this is white, white, white. It has extra coverage and anti-circle effectiveness. Yes, it has a slight Pearl shimmer to it.

If you like a bit of color in your concealer, mix a tad bit of your foundation tone in there.

This blends nicely with a brush or sponge.

I will be making a light pink version of this too

Here’s the foundation in all three tones. I will need to take more pictures with my shot box with consistent light, but this gives you an idea. The light tone and dark tone were taken in this morning’s light while the medium was taken yesterday late afternoon light. I use the medium shade and I’m quite fair. There’s so much skin nourishment in my foundation!! I use all non-comedogenic oils/butters, but I do use just a bit of beeswax to help it stay on the skin all day.

Dew Drops on Roses Blush. So pretty, coordinates with the yet unnamed lip gloss!! It sparkles!!
