Really cool hair transformation ! Wishing I got the details of her hairline.

Here we have hair that has been exposed to well water for at least 17 years. Well water or city hard water has major drying and damaging effects to the hair. Metal detoxes are essential and I will always start your color service with one, if you allow me :). Hard water creates build up of minerals and metals in the hair causing discoloration and breakage. From orange to green tones, it’s important to keep the hair clarified and treated at least monthly.

Our client here was in a pickle between going lighter or staying dark, all while trying to blend in grey and creating a low maintenance look that she can potentially touch up on her own between appointments. Details of her hairline entail a very soft fine baby light that was toned to a very ashhh level 7 with no color exposure to the root. Very interesting. Nonetheless, I can go into further details, but here is the before, after, and inspired color look of choice. Enjoy !

The goal here, was to add a pop of color that wouldn’t be overwhelming, yet seamless and able to blend into any professional environment 💜💓♥️. My client here has been box dying black, with about 5 inches of new growth. We retouched her root with a level 4 instead of black, and I gently lightened her tips enough to get this pretty purple red to stick. A success indeed.

These Gorgeous Curls require a gentle touch ! My curly girls on a healthy hair journey always express concern about heat damage. Listen, my first priority is the integrity and health of your hair. High heat doesn’t always mean straight hair, and if so the proper touch is needed, and I got that!

We highlighted this beauty I think in 2020, and this is the grow out. She has not had her hair straightened since then, and it’s an honor to do it now. About two months ago we did a super big chop as we grow out her highlights, and that big chop brought about these super bouncy spiral curls! I mean talk about perfect 😍
