It’s Aldi Monday! I always go to all day right before lunch because it’s right after I take the 930 class in Nanuet. By the time I got home, I’m starving! So I was eager to try this quick five minute protein pasta. I actually was surprised by the quality of the noodles and the flavor. But disappointed by the portion to calorie ratio. I feel like it wasn’t enough food for 400 cal, which is typically around what my lunch would be so that would be all that I would be able to have with no sides or snacks. But it was definitely tastier than I thought! I would definitely eat it in a pinch. It also comes in creamy mushroom flavor. meal
Protein waffles in the freezer section- I think they taste yummy. The stats aren’t the best- there’s a little too much fat and sugar, but it’s really not a bad bang for the buck. Each waffle is 120 calories, 3.5gsugat and 5g fat. Top it off with Smuckers sugar-free spread (not from Aldi- regular supermarket). It’s basically a calorie/sugar free topping.

It’s Monday! I’ve been loving this protein pudding. Such a satisfying dessert- Thick and creamy- and I add zero sugar cool whip. 15g protein and only 130 calories! Comes in chocolate or vanilla.

Açaí bowl! I’ve been searching for one since they stopped selling them at Costco that are cheap and also really yummy. I’m picky with my açai. These work! I add my own yogurt and fruit and Chia or granola and peanut butter and it’s a fraction of the cost of an açai bowl place. But can we please make stemless blueberries?? Lol.
Not the flavor I wanted so can’t highly recommend this one, but maybe you’ll like it better than I did. Baked ricotta-it’s cheesecake without the cake lol. .com
Now that I coach Monday morning in Nanuet, my new ritual is going to Aldi after. I’m gonna report back to every Monday with one of my finds. You’re welcome.

It takes a lot for me to slam a company publicly but I am so disappointed in - a company I have vehemently supported for years that I feel compelled to do so.
I have been exclusively wearing ASICS running shoes for about 15 years. As a fitness professional I am often asked what sneakers I recommend and ASICS has always been it for me. As a runner and someone who wears sneakers all day every day, I go through many pairs annually, and will often “stock up” when they go on sale to try to save a little money. Every few months I pull a new pair out from under my bed.
Recently I have been disappointed that the last two pairs I used have developed holes- way before I would have normally retired them. This is something that has never happened before and so I decided to write to the company about it.
Not only did they not care, but it was evident from the responses that they sent automated replies. I was told they were no longer under warranty so there was nothing they can do. Of course they were not under warranty since they were purchased in bulk over a year ago but they were brand new when I put them on. The fact that they had no desire to do anything to make this right by me is really upsetting.
I am therefore officially writing this A- in hopes that they will see it and B- to let you know that I can no longer recommend the shoes or the brand and I will no longer be a customer.
In stark contrast is another shoe company that I use for many years. makes an incredible recovery shoe that comes in many styles and colors and I absolutely love them. When I ordered the wrong size of some thing by mistake, not only did they ship me my proper size with no questions asked, they told me to just keep the wrong pair that I ordered. Now THAT is customer service.
