Both are icons, to be honest. 🤍

One wakes up at 5 AM, packs a 100 lb makeup kit, runs an entire business, and wears a blazer on the regular.

The other loves beautiful hotels, trying new restaurants, drinks way too much coffee, and tells way too many dad jokes.

As my platform grows, I’ve felt like I had to choose which version of me belonged on social media. Because I built my business around makeup (and an elevated brand), I felt like that’s all I should share.

But… that’s not really me. (Or all of me, I should say, because your girl does love a beautiful hotel and a fancy dinner. 😆)

My business is a huge part of my life, but it’s not my whole life.

And the funny thing is… the more I share a little bit of me, the more connected I feel to the community I’ve built on social media. My brides aren’t just clients to me. I’ve stayed friends with so many of them long after their wedding day, and I genuinely think that’s because we connected as PEOPLE, first.

I think we’re all allowed to have a little duality. To be really good at what we do and still have hobbies. To run a business and still romanticize life and crack funny jokes. To love our careers without making them our entire personality.

At the end of the day, people connect with people.

And isn’t that kind of the whole point of social media? 🤍

Products I will and won’t be repurchasing for my bridal makeup kit. The EU reformulation wave has hit almost every brand, and I’m just now processing that Dior Backstage Face and Body is next.

Consistency is everything when you’re building a kit clients and photographers can count on. Constant reformulations make that so much harder. Still - we adapt, find alternatives, and keep showing up for our brides. 🤍
