Over a decade of experience creating seamless, customized looks that grow out beautifully. I've been working as a professional Makeup Artist for almost 20 years. Started out working for Benefit Cosmetics, where I learned the basics of beauty & beauty make up. After a year, I went to work for MAC Cosmetics, and was with them for an amazing 8+years. Over the years working with MAC I was trained to do all genres of make up: natural, dramatic, theater, runway, photography, drag, and anything else you can imagine. I was given the opportunity to work with the Raidertte Cheerleaders, which was an amazing and fun opportunity. I also trained many employees who have become very successful members of the company even to this day. My most favorite part of my career with MAC was when I was training to be a trainer. I was able to facilitate/teach many classes to customers and staff, while traveling all over Northern California to the Central Valley. After 8 years I decided to venture out on my own and work for myself. I worked as a Make Up artist for the Golden State Warriors Dancers for 2 seasons. I collaborated with C.M.Elle Studios for a long time as we built our businesses together. I created a very successful Wedding Makeup business in Napa for some years. What is a mini highlight/face frame service? It’s a service where I max the front hairline for a bright impact with a few foils close the the part and top of the crown, which gives the appearance of a full lived-in dimensional highlight.
Depending on density and hair length, and of course previous color history, this was designed as a quick service that give max impact.
Part 1 of a a couple more mini sessions to go.
Today was session one of my clients hair transformation. My clients time is very limited in the salon, as we both decided to go slow with mini highlight sessions until we reach our end goal.
This session, we focused on brightening the front, and neutralizing the old existing color. Next session we will focus on the back while tipping out her ends for max brightness. And hopefully our 3rd and final mini session will be adding more intentional brightness throughout.
When your time or budget is limited, mini sessions could be your resolution!
