The Governor has announced that as of today, January 25, 2021, the Regional Stay at Home Order has been lifted for all regions of the State. This means that massage may now be performed as personal care service indoors, with modifications, in all counties in the State, unless the county specifically prohibits it. Napa does not prohibit it.
So grab an appointment, your mask and come see me soon.

According to the California Department of Public Health (CDPH), Essential Services Inquiries, “Medical Massage is massage that is done based on a referral from a doctor or chiropractor. Medical Massage can be done indoors as it is considered essential as healthcare and therefore not under personal services. There is no requirement that it be in a medical office, only that it be done based on a referral from a doctor or chiropractor.” Therefore, according to the CDPH, massage may still be provided, indoors with modifications, in the Regions subject to the Regional Stay at Home Order, if it is provided based on a referral from a physician or chiropractor, and the county/city allows it. As the counties have the right to impose stricter requirements than the State, please check with your local county for their requirements.

Here is my understanding of the latest update for massage in Napa County.
As of this Monday 31st, INDOOR massage may resume once again. As always, strict adherence to the set health and safety protocols must be followed.
