Studio 3 Eleven

First, I want to say a huge thank you to Cassie and Cara for planning and organizing today’s surprise party for me! You two truly went above and beyond, and I loved every single detail. ❤️

I’d also like to thank all of my amazing clients who came to celebrate with me, and everyone who couldn’t make it but reached out with kind words and well wishes. Your love, support, and thoughtfulness mean more to me than I can put into words.

I appreciate each and every one of you so very much. Thank you for making today so incredibly special. ❤️

Wow… I’m going to try to find the right words, because I have way too many to say.
This week, reality really sank in. In just 10 days, it will be my last day behind the chair.

Being a hairstylist was never just a job to me. I was lucky enough to spend my days doing something I genuinely loved, but my greatest passion was never just the hair—it was the people. The real gift has been the genuine connections and relationships I’ve built over the years.

Some of those relationships have lasted more than 20 years, while others may have only been a couple. Every single one of you has made me feel so loved, supported, and appreciated. Thank you for every kind word, every thoughtful conversation, every generous gift, the planned get togethers, and every heartfelt hug.

The hugs have been the hardest. You know the ones—the kind where neither of you is ready to let go because you’re both trying not to fall apart. And my personal favorite… the rebound hug. When you start to walk away, then turn around and come back for just one more. The words and the hugs! Those are the memories I’ll carry with me forever.

I will miss each and every one of you more than you know.

This season has taught me that it’s possible to be heartbroken and excited for the future at the very same time. Both emotions can exist together, and right now, they absolutely do.

To Cassie and Cara… I honestly don’t even know where to begin. We started as coworkers, became friends, built a business together, and somewhere along the way, became family. I can’t imagine doing life without either of you.

Over the years, we’ve realized just how rare our friendship truly is. Thank you for believing in me, standing beside me, making me laugh when I needed it most, and holding me up through one of the biggest transitions of my life. Your love and support have meant more than I could ever put into words.

From the bottom of my heart… thank you.

While this chapter is coming to an end, the memories, friendships, and love I’ve found along the way will always be a part of me. I’ll carry each of you with me as I begin this next chapter, and I hope you know how much of an impact you’ve had on my life.🥹♥️

At the beginning of April, I started sharing my big news with my clients. At the end of July, I'll be moving closer to my family and starting a new career! This decision is bittersweet.
Some of my clients had their last appointments with me this week, and I know it will only get harder as my last few days get closer. My entire adult life has been here. There have been many tears, big hugs, lots of laughs, and so many shared memories.
Please share your favorite memory of us—I’ve loved hearing them!
Many of my clients have been with me since my early 20s. One of the memories that’s been shared several times is of me sitting and coloring pictures with little kids while their moms' color was processing. Later, those same kids grew up and became old enough for me to give them their first highlights. Then they’d come back to see me when they were home from college.
Fast forward to today, and those kids are grown, building careers, and getting married. Many of my clients have become true friends and feel like family. We’ve shared so many milestones together, and I feel incredibly blessed.
My clients have all been so supportive through this transition. Cassie and Cara have been right beside me every step of the way. This month is our 11th anniversary at Studio 3eleven, and what an amazing ride it has been! We know how lucky we are to have the relationship we do. We’ve always been friends first and business partners second. We’ve been there for each other through all of life’s major events.
Cass and Cara, I can’t thank you enough. I love you both bunches, and I’m going to miss you like crazy!
Change is hard, but change can also be good. I’ll miss you all so very much! This isn’t goodbye—it’s just "see you later" or "talk to you soon."

No surprise—we’re fashionably late in posting this, lol! Can you believe it’s been a decade since we began our Studio 3eleven journey? We can’t either! Last night, we went out to dinner to celebrate. We ate a lot, talked a lot, and of course, laughed a lot. While reminiscing, we realized just how many milestones, ups, downs, and everything in between we’ve experienced over the past 10 years. We’ve ridden all the waves—and many of you were right there riding them with us! We’re so grateful for each and every one of our clients. You’re the reason we’ve been able to do what we love for as long as we have! We sincerely thank you!
