Washing your hair every day does not automatically strip your hair of its natural oils—especially when you’re using a shampoo with a pH between 4.5 and 5.5. With the right shampoo, you can wash your hair as often as you’d like while still keeping your scalp and strands healthy.

In fact, it’s important to cleanse your scalp regularly to remove buildup, oil, and impurities. We wash our face every day—so why do we think we can skip washing our scalp and hair?
