I am up early, 7:30 here, had a nice hot tub in the dark, and moderate wind! Now Iam about to do some last minute preparations cutting down coconuts and papaya for a hurricane
( cat 4 or 5)
making land fall likely later today. Hurricane is currently 155 miles per hour.
It is 65 miles offshore from Naples so will likely landfall north of us. but it will stack up water on shore south east of the eye.
We now live inland 15 miles so may not get the salty storm surge, but may have up to 2 feet of rain. so fresh water flooding,
I am hopeful not structural damaging at our house.
It will be a long couple days today and tomorrow😂watching things develop.
Hurricane bands stretch out a hundred miles spinning off “ tropical tornados”
A prairie tornado is visible because of the dust.
A “tropical tornado” is invisible, hidden in rainfall.
Most bridges are closed, Matt has been conscripted for 14 days, he can not come home even to get any supplies.
30,000 electrical trucks staged/ standing by in middle of state.
I saw them traveling east on my way home from work yesterday.
We have generators and a small window A/C, so we should stay cool after power goes out.
I am confident that we will be alright other than maybe emotionally😂😂😂
I guess my son is the one out there in the thick of it. (paramedic)
But they do not go out in the storm, no calls are answered during landfall, only after sustained winds are below 45 miles per hour are they asked to go out.

I have added two "OLD SCHOOL" massage tools to my website
They are not tools I use anymore, because I like the new tips much better.

This is a huge improvement over the old wooden doweling T-Bars from years gone by! But they are far less effective in my experience, plus the tip wears out, unlike the new improved tips.
