This is certainly the most difficult post I have ever made. I never envisioned that I would have to take this step, but after 16 years in the hair industry as a barber, hairstylist, consultant, and educator I am retiring the Barberella Fades brand, as well as myself. (so, no please don’t ever ask again, respectfully.) This career has afforded me the opportunity to travel extensively throughout the country and live an extraordinary life that many can only dream of. I have had the pleasure of meeting some truly remarkable individuals along the way and have learned more about myself than I could ever hope to teach others. I express my gratitude to God every day for the gift he bestowed upon me, allowing me to witness his love in my own unique way. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all the clients, students, and colleagues who have become like family to me over the years; I cherish each and every one of you. I wish you and your families continued health and happiness. I love you all, Barbie.
