1/2 tsp kosher salt
1/4 tsp black pepper
2 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp unsalted butter
2 cups cremini mushrooms sliced
2 garlic cloves minced
2 shallots
1/2 cup Marsala wine
1/2 cup chicken broth low sodium, if preferred
2 tsp fresh thyme leaves
1 tbsp flat-leaf parsley chopped (optional for garnish)
