Let’s chat hydration 💦 always important but a particular challenge during hot summer months, especially if you live in a drier climate. Beyond your basic 8+ cups of water (or non caffeinated beverages) a day, here are a few of our favorite ways to stay hydrated:

💥Super charge your water with electrolytes - makes a great, low sugar option with skin-supporting ceramides.

🍉Eat your water - get an extra dose of hydration by filling up on high-water content fruits and vegetables like watermelon, cucumbers and jicama.

🚫Limit your alcohol intake - we love an aperol spritz on a summer Friday as much as the next gal but there’s no denying that too much alcohol is going to set your efforts back. Double up on water between drinks, and try mixing in some fun low and no-proof cocktails.

🧴Bonus tip! Your skin needs some extra love in the summer too. Look for hyaluronic acid in your skin care products, which supports skin hydration and reduces the appearance of wrinkles as a result. (Perfect time to try our Night Light serum!)

Summer is here and it's the perfect time to revisit our relationship with the sun! ☀️ Here are some of our favorite ways to stay safe and get the most out of brighter, longer days.

🧴 Sunscreen: Let's get the obvious out of the way. You need high-SPF sunscreen (30+) every day to keep your skin in tip-top shape (and reapply if you're spending time in the pool or sweating!). Kimberly loves for it's no-white cast finish; Kate loves for its all-mineral formulations.

🚘 Watch your windows!: Heading out on a road trip? Don't forget your skin protection basics like SPF, hat and long glasses. Windows filter out some of the beneficial elements of sunlight and let the junk light in.

🛏️ Hack your sleep with sunlight: Studies show 20 minutes of bright light first thing in the morning can extend how long you sleep at night. On the flip side, use blue light blocking glasses at night to offset later sunsets, which can impact melatonin production.

✨ Supercharge your skincare: Look for skin products with antioxidants like vitamins C and E, especially when paired with ferulic acid, which can help support your skin agains the impact of free radical damage from the sun.
