Let's...
Topic: my journey in ✨️
As a child, I jumped on the trampoline and imagined soaring the skies. As a teenager, I was convinced I could travel the world–and get paid to do it. Today, as an adult, I lead as an airline pilot who’s living a dream that once felt larger than life!

✈️ Earned my Airline Transport Pilot (ATP) certificate, allowing me to work at the airlines for over two years now and join the roughly 5% of my coworkers who are female.

✈️ Hold a CL-65 type rating, carrying up to 95 souls on board.

✈️ Built my initial flight hours by instructing, where I utilized my CFI/CFII/MEI certificates, and by volunteering through Angel Flight, where I transported patients to out-of-area hospitals.

✈️ Honored to received notable scholarships such as FedEx Purple Runway, Annette Klosterman Aviation Memorial, American Airlines Education Foundation, Curt Kriedeman Certified Flight Instructor, and more.

✈️ Love having a small role in one's larger journey whether someone is traveling home for the holidays –excited to hug family and embrace friends, traveling for a business trip – hoping to strike a deal and land a promotion, or exploring the world – creating memories and discovering cultures.

At some point in life, you'll probably find yourself on a plane. Look for me in the cockpit 😉

So, let's talk about it more -> why is this important?
Last year, while standing in uniform, I overheard a little girl ask her father, “Dad, look over there–is she a pilot?”. He glanced up at me, replied “No”, and returned to his phone. In that moment, I realized that my years of work–to promote STEM, challenge assumptions, and encourage the next generation–was not finished. While my path was characterized by passion, perseverance, and proximity to a landing strip, it was made possible by programs that supported me and by people who believed in me. Big dreams often start with small sparks, and I aim to ignite those sparks through my personal S.E.R.V.E initiative, The Spark Initative.

Serving up pancakes & patriotism! 🥞 🇺🇸

On my wonderful trip to Missouri over July 4th, I joined the Miss MO Volunteer Pageant to make breakfast for the residents of Ronald McDonald House St. Louis. This global nonprofit provides a "home away from home" for families with seriously ill/injured children receiving treatment at nearby hospitals.

It was a sunny-side up morning as us ladies assembled breakfast sandwiches, washed a variety of fruits, added a questionable amount of chocolate chips to the pancakes, and served families with a smile. It was a wonderful start to a day of celebration, reminding us that patriotism isn't only something we feel; it's something we do, as we look after our neighbors ❤️
