Found out walking is faster than dealing with the traffic, you can eat a dollar slice of pizza while enjoying a million dollar skyline view, and that no fashion statement is out of style.

A heartbreaking day in history for our first responders, our airline crews, and our entire nation. Today, let's honor the lives lost, the heroes who ran in, the families that still mourn, and the patriotic unity that followed tragedy. Never forget.

What have I been up to??
Well, I had my annual reminder that flying airplanes is the normal part – passing recurrent training is where the character development happens! Just spent 5 days proving I still know how to fly an airplane...my brain would like to file a fatigue report 🫠
BUT REALLY -> each year, airline pilots are put through a rigorous continuing qualification (“CQ”) program. Consisting of classroom instruction, knowledge examinations, and simulator sessions, each airline’s recurrent training is tailored to current safety trends while ensuring pilots maintain proficiency in both abnormal & emergency situations. Basically, it’s the aviation equivalent of an annual performance review; except, instead of sitting in an office, you’re in a simulator and someone is actively trying to make your day difficult 😆
Thankfully, everything was completed to standards, so I’ll see y'all back in the skies!
