Who says vivid color *has* to be high maintenance? It doesn’t! This style of placement is still nice and loud, but great if you’re looking for low in-salon maintenance with anywhere from 3-6 months between appts (longer if you don’t have bangs✂️) with a soft grow out, and options of refreshing fadeage at home in between!

It's hard to believe it's already been almost three months since the fires. YOU GUYS, A TOWN BURNED DOWN.

I never lived in Paradise, but I have family there. I grew up in the town next to it and visited Paradise often. My cousin lost her house and my aunt & uncle are working on getting there's liveable again. We are SO LUCKY they all got out in time and that we're only talking about 'things' they lost. We are so lucky that my cousin didn't work in Paradise so she still has a job, but many others were not so fortunate.

This dry shampoo by is straight up ✨MAGIC✨. I say this because despite sweating puddles💦 going to HOT yoga & HOTBOX (kickboxing in a heated room), I am able to go 4-7 days without washing my hair, and no one can tell🤷‍♀️.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

✅Shake, shake, SHAKE it between sprays! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✅GET IN THERE! Use your hands 🖐to push the product into your roots more, it also helps fight powdery residue from being apparent.⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
✅BLOW DRY IT IN! 💨You don't have to get fancy, just hit your roots with a blow dryer and use your hands move the product around and it'll add some volume, and make the product work better to absorb oils. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
❌Don't spray too close to scalp; sometimes you might think a dry shampoo isn't working but really you're spraying too close and getting more propellent than product.🤦‍♀️⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

⚡What a difference a YEAR makes!⚡

-The photo on the left was Anna's color up until August of 2017.

-The photo on the right is Anna's hair as of August 2018.

-TRUST👏THE👏PROCESS! This was anything but easy, red is an insanely stubborn color to be rid of, however, with Anna's trust, we never had an awkward color between the starting point and end goal.

-Anna came in on average every 10 weeks, sometimes for highlights, sometimes glosses and conditioning treatments, and it shows; her hair is still healthy and shiny. 🌟

HAPPY H A L L O W E E N !!!👻 I had so much fun celebrating this past Saturday as Pennywise the clown, and I hope you all had a fabulous time with your costumes well!

...not sure if this is still a thing but....🤷‍♀️I hit it off immediately with girl when she sat in my chair a couple years ago with a fantastic PIXIE cut!! Fast forward to now, and she has moved to North Carolina🙁, is still the most impressively supporting wife, not-surprisingly the coolest mom, style icon💃, and still one of the funniest AND wisest humans I know. Throwback Thursday to 2014!
This was taken when documenting my work was a new concept, and I had maybe 5️⃣️ 'mermaid' clients in total. I was SO proud of this hair and felt like I knew EVERYTHING about working with vivid color🙄.... now, over 4 years later with way more 'mermaids' to client list.. I couldn't feel more opposite than that 😂
