Y’all, look what just showed up at Back2Nature! 👀
We are SO excited to be partnering with Mermaids Magic Sea Moss in the very near future! We just got our first box of goodies in and of course we had to do an unboxing.
Even better these are SAMPLES for everyone to try!
If you’ve been curious about sea moss, stop by the shop and try some for yourself. Samples are available while they last, and once they’re gone, they’re gone!
Huge shoutout to Mermaid’s Magic for sending all of this our way. We can’t wait to bring another great small business into Back2Nature and give our customers even more natural wellness options.
Come see us and grab a taste before we run out! We want your opinion so we know which ones to have them supply! (I have a suspicion it will be all of them!)

Failure is evidence that you’ve moved from thinking into doing. You literally cannot learn to do something difficult without being bad at some version of it first. Every attempt gives you information the person who never tried doesn’t have. ❤️ Food for thought!

I’ve been spending my evening with God and I asked him to lead me through an old family Bible. I ended up sitting here reading Ecclesiasticus (Sirach)—a book most of us don’t have in the Bibles sitting on our nightstands today. Then I got to chapter 38.
“The Lord hath created medicines out of the earth; and he that is wise will not abhor them.”
A few verses later it talks about the apothecary preparing those medicines. The same chapter tells us to honor physicians, says their skill is given by God, tells the sick to pray, and also tells them to give the physician his place.
Obviously, as an herbalist, that stopped me in my tracks.
But it also sent me down a much bigger rabbit hole.
Why aren’t these books in most of our Bibles anymore?
I grew up thinking of “the Bible” as a fixed collection of 66 books, almost as though Christians had always held exactly the same Bible we have today. The actual history is considerably more complicated.
I’m less interested in somebody simply telling me these books “don’t belong in the Bible,” and much more interested in understanding why. If we’ve never read these writings or studied the history of the canon ourselves, how do we know why we believe they shouldn’t be there?
I invite the insight but I encourage you to truly think through what’s been removed before jumping to answer what we’ve been taught.
