Definitely a different experience being at my workplace with one of my own kids having surgery the other day. 🩷

The NDSU team physicians are excellent, but ultimately felt it would be easier for him to recover back home here in Appleton.

A huge thank you to Dr. Nabor for taking such incredible care of him. Carter ended up having an ACL repair, lateral meniscus repair and an LET. We truly have the most exceptional sports medicine doctors at OSMS and we’re so grateful for the skill, attention, and care he gave Carter and Tony and I through this whole process.

Also so thankful for Shay and Dr. Allen as part of our amazing anesthesia team, Bridget Dr. Nabor’s nurse for facilitating everything so quickly and all of the nurses and techs and 1st assist Dana who helped take care of him. Watching your coworkers care for your child is something that feels very different as a mom. ❤️

We truly have the best here in the Valley, and I’m incredibly grateful for every person who played a part in his care.

They will always be my biggest accomplishment. So blessed to be their mom.🩷
