Debbie Metzger Salon

A small, laid-back salon upstairs in Cafe Coco is a very popular "hang-out" and both times I was there, there were out-of-towners who came into Nashville to get their hair done by Debbie. Not to drop names but Deb Metzger has developed an “A” list client through working hair and makeup for the CMA, ACM and CMT Award shows since 1999. Deb started getting noticed after only two years in Nashville working at Rique’s Image Center. Through continuing education Deb has earned the distinction of Colorist Extrordinaire a title only given to a select few in the industry. But don’t let the impressive resume fool you, Deb is very down to earth thanks in part to her Wyoming upbringing and tom boy nature. Her cuts are relatively inexpensive.

“People come up here just to hang out all the time” says Deb. Being above Café Coco is wonderful and my clients love that I moved the salon here.” Besides doing hair, Deb’s patrons enjoy the espresso drinks, appetizers, chef specials, frosty mugs of beer and homemade desserts, served to them from the cafe. This makes her salon really unique.
