icelynns micro preemie journey

icelynn was 10 pounds 5 ounces her last check up! she has been doing so good! she’s taking more and more by mouth but still has her gtube!

she’s getting so big! she will talk back at you and even hold her bottle!

i’m beyond proud of her!

icelynn has loved being home and is taking bottles quite well!
her first pediatrician appointment was day before yesterday and she was 8 pounds 9.6 ounces .. well yesterday i had a scare and she was throwing up they said she was fine and switched her feed but her weight then was 8 pounds 15 ounces so my girls weight is definitely on track.

icelynn is chilling like a villain this morning she woke up and decided boom i’m finna s**t on you 😭 she’s been comfortable at the most she does have times where she’s uncomfortable

i can’t wait for y’all to see her bare face my baby is so tea 🥺🥺🥺

and we did have a GTube placement surgery 🥺 we should have all of the ivs out by tomorrow morning and then we have another surprise for you guys that I can’t share until a couple days after!💕

she’s still a little swollen from all of fluids were weighing each diaper to make sure she pushes it all out she is also still experiencing little discomfort and minor pain but we’re managing with tylenol 🥺

This little girl has been the strongest
her first surgery was for her heart piccolo which helped her blossom into the baby she is now without correcting it she would have became weak and possibly wouldn’t be here and now she had her 2 surgery that is going to set the ship sailing 🤭
