Three babies in four years. Motherhood changes your body in ways you don’t fully understand until you live it. After my second baby, I told myself that one day I would have a mommy makeover.

When the time came, I was honestly very nervous. I almost didn’t go through with it because it meant being away from my kids for five days. I’ve never been away from them that long, especially my youngest who is two and a half and used to me putting him to bed every night.

But I made the trip to Virginia to see Dr. Reza, and I’m really glad I did. Recovery has been challenging, but it was worth taking the time to do something for myself.

Grateful to my mom and my husband for holding down the house while I was gone, and a special thank you to my friend Malory .berry12 for taking care of me the first half of recovery. Sometimes taking care of yourself is part of taking care of everyone else too. 🤍
