One year ago today, I said hello and goodbye to these little feet. I wish I had held him longer. I wish I had touched his fingers and toes and fragile skin more. I wish I had kissed his little face 1 million more times. I wish the shock, sadness and pain hadn’t stolen so much of the little time we had with him. I wish he could have been with us forever.

It’s crazy hard for me to believe that it’s been 11 months since Shelly jumped on board! This year has been such a whirlwind and I have much to thank her for. It’s less common than you think, in our industry, to plant roots in one spot and get to dig in and grow. Often in esthetics people juggle working in multiple locations and sometimes have multiple jobs to make all the ends meet. Sometimes you do a little of what you have to in one place until you can do more of what you LOVE in another.

Shelly has found a place to let her roots dig in and she gets to do so much more of what she loves! She will continue to focus on advanced skin care treatments (microneedling, peels, lasers) and even get back into some teaching!! I am eternally grateful for this time we have had to work “together” again and couldn’t be happier for her to have ONE work spot moving forward. Next weekend we bid my estie bestie farewell and good luck! May be your happy full-time home. 🙏🏼🖤

CHLOÉ Aesthetics turned 5 on October 1st and I quite literally just missed it. There has been plenty going on in life to keep me distracted but I wanted to acknowledge a few quick things before the month passes.

I have the most genuine, thoughtful, kind and accepting clients and I am honored to call them my community. I never imagined I’d feel as strongly about these humans as I do.

Running your own business is hard. Having a life while running a business is hard. Experiencing life while trying to show up for your business is hard … but I wouldn’t change the HARD for all the GOOD.

Shelly aka has been the real MVP this last year. She came on board in January to help me provide quality skincare to clients who found my business but I couldn’t take on as new clients and it relieved a lot of pressure from me. She unexpectedly (but without pause) stepped in to carry a heavy load when my personal life rendered me “out of office” with a major TBD return. The doors would have been closed if not for her. No amount of thanks for her time and care will ever be sufficient, truly.

I’m starting year 6 of CHLOÉ Aesthetics with more questions that year 1 and that weirdly feels OK. I’m stepping back into my same space as a different person and I expect it all to feel a little “new”. I guess I just want to say THANK YOU, to all of you who have been here for a while and those that may have just started following along. The support and love for me and my business is indescribable and I can’t say that I know what I did to deserve it. Humbly, 🙏🏼🖤 for these 5 years.
