First caption is desired color. I did a test strand on my guest JUST to make sure I knew how she was going to lighten before she came in. I used about a15 vol dev on zone 1: then 25 vol on zone 2 and 3. I did a ton of double and triple foils, crisp crossing around the ear area, so when she pulls her hair back, she has beautiful contrasting tones exposed. I used a shades cream base for hair left out of foil. Shampoo'd, then did a "rooty" glaze technique on damp hair.
