My sweet guest was over her long, thick hair that was past her butt and causing her headaches. She was tossing it up into a "mom bun" daily because she didnt know what to do with it. After talking for a few minutes she confessed that for the past 7 years she's only ever gotten trims straight across the bottom because she had been traumatized by bad haircuts in the past. Her anxiety was shooting through the roof and then she saw me take 23" off of her front layers and decided her eyes would remain closed the rest of the haircut.
She asked for long waterfall layers, and after 2 years of building her trust, she was finally ready to do it.
