THIRTY EIGHT 🌵🎂
37 was my first full year of motherhood and through the process of letting go of who I was before my son, I rediscovered parts of myself that I thought died along with the people I loved so deeply. I was convinced I would never feel “normal” again after I loss my dad and Jules. Turns out I wouldn’t, but instead I would grow, I would evolve, and I would come out the other side surviving the scars I picked up along the way. My extroverted personality has acted as a wonderful curtain to hide behind during some of my hardest days, but watching my son grow and witnessing magic through his eyes showed me I didn’t need to hide anymore. Being his mom required me to come face to face with my grief in order to show up for him despite whatever I was feeling. He deserves more and I was determined to give him the best I have to offer.
I spent this last year rebuilding myself. Through prayer, through tears, through the overwhelming and unconditional love my husband poured into me. In the moments where I felt like I couldn’t stand back up, my husband and his devotion to our family would remind me of who I was and what I am capable of. Without him, I would not have made it to 38.
As I step into this new year of life, it comes at perfect timing since we’re about to move away from the life I’ve known. For the last few months all I could think about is all the loss I’ve gone through (including walking away from LA and my career in hair) but the truth is this isn’t a time to count the losses but instead to look forward to all the possibilities that are ahead. This is a time to thank God for all the people He has placed in my life regardless of how He called them back Home. Above all, this is the time to realize that i have survived every worst day of my life because every one of those days brought me to here and now.
38, I am so excited for all you have in store. And for the first time in a LONG time, I whole heartedly know I am ready for whatever is ahead. 🥰♥️

A year of motherhood. A year of getting to know the most magical, silly, loving, cuddly, cheeky, curious, determined, chonkee, beautiful little human being. A year of getting to know myself in a completely new and different way. Learning that I am way stronger than I ever knew I was capable of being. Motherhood is the most remarkable journey and experience and I feel wildly lucky that I get to live it. Mothers really are super heroes to the fullest extent. Happy Mother’s Day to all you extraordinary women! Today and every 👏🏽 friggin 👏🏽 day!!! 👏🏽

Theo’s first birthday photos coming in HAWT 🔥🔥🔥🔥
I still can’t wrap my head around the fact that our little baby is now a little toddler. He’s got big teeth, big feelings, and does some big time walking around reminding us that he is in fact a big boy now and not our little baby. What he didn’t realize quite yet is that no matter how tall he grows or how many years we are blessed to have catch him grow, he will always and forever be our baby. ♥️
Thank you Jess for capturing these moments with our sweet boy. You captured our journey from when I was pregnant and carrying Theo in my womb, to our first Christmas as a family, and now this milestone of celebrating his first full trip around the sun. We will cherish these photos and these moments for the rest of our lives. 🥹♥️

I moved to LA nearly 14-years ago. I had just bought brand new furniture for my east village apartment in NYC but when presented the opportunity to uproot my life and start again on the west coast, I quit my job at , packed up my belongings into the backseat of my car and started driving across the country. After a week on the road, I landed in West Hollywood and little did I know, life as I knew it was about to completely change.
I became one of the OG stylists at , 9-years later I opened a salon in 2021 with my old colleagues & helped bring to life , and eventually I landed with the beautiful and talented team at in 2023. In between all those years are countless “highlight” moments. I’ve been the hairstylist behind red-carpet looks for the Met Gala, Oscars, several award show seasons, and 10-seasons of NYC fashion weeks. I got to style hair for monumental moments and milestones of some of the most extraordinary humans that God has placed in my life. Above all though: I’ve had the distinct privilege of being able to build some of my most cherished relationships all through the vessel of doing hair. And it’s THOSE relationships, YOU humans, who have given my life more meaning, love, support, encouragement, more MAGIC than I think any of you could ever imagine understand. You all have changed my life in ways that I could never ever fully articulate but the only place I know to begin is to simply say: THANK YOU.
Which leads to the reason of this post: after 14-beautiful years of being in LA, I am moving back east. My last day of work will be *June 20* which means you’ll have 11-weeks to see me before I am no longer a CA resident 🥹💔
When I first moved to LA, I was 24, newly single, and had more ambition than my height deficit body knew what to do with. Now I’m returning to PA at 38, as a married mom, with even more ambition but now with an insatiable drive that only becoming a mom would grant me. Again, thank you all for 19-wonderful years of being the girl behind your mane. Now get ready for Stizzy Ho: the woman behind the wok. 😎♥️

THEO is ONE (Lucky Duck) 🥹♥️
Spent the last couple days celebrating our sweet chunky monkey and his first full trip around the sun. From waking up on his birthday with all his “boys” there to greet him with balloons and gifts, to getting his first big boy haircut 🥹, to birthday photos and smash cakes, to partying with family and friends at our family’s restaurant. Every moment was filled with magic and so so so much love. I am so thankful for all the humans who made this weekend so special for Theo. I am so overwhelmed with gratitude for all the people God has placed in our lives who consistently show up for us and now our boy. Thank you all for pouring so much love into his life.
Our sweet Theo. You came into all our lives after a season of so much loss and heartbreak and brought with you overwhelming healing, restoration, and LIFE. Thank you for choosing us to be your tribe. Thank you for choosing us to be your mommy and daddy. I pray you continue to grow in the warmth of our love, in God’s love, and know that no matter where life leads you—you are not alone ever in anything you do. Be bold, be brave, be fearless. This last year was the greatest adventure of our lives, and it’s only the beginning. The best is yet to come my sweet boy and I can’t wait to hold your hand along the way for as long as God allows. We love you. I love you. Happy Birthday our Theo Ming Yang ♥️🎂

Last moments of 2025 were spent watching one of my dearest friends get married with the backdrop of Lake Tahoe in all her snow covered glory. It was the first time Jack & I were away from our sweet boy. As much as we loved getting dressed up as just us (and not mom & dad 😅) we would be lying if we said we weren’t just looking at photos & videos of him the entire time (in between the constant FaceTimes 😅🤣)
Thank you for a stunning 36-hours away and for ending (and starting) the year in such a breathtaking way. Congratulations again & Lucas! 🥂🎉🎊♥️

When it’s your son’s first Thanksgiving, you get on a plane with him and bring him to his family to celebrate properly. 🥹♥️
Coming back to PA after my dad’s been gone has not been what I would call “emotionally easy.” It’s honestly been incredibly difficult. But getting to feed my son his first ever taste of PA style filling (if you know, you KNOWWWW) and turkey— that makes it all worth it. Getting to see him with his cousins and aunties and uncles and people who make up his tribe welcoming him in— that makes it all worth it. Despite our son’s incredibly serious face in every single attempt at a family photo today, he is having an incredible time. And so are we. It’s fair to say I am so thankful. I am beyond thankful. Happy Thanksgiving from us to you.🤎🧡❤️
