Lately I’ve been engaged in many mask debates. I’m not a scientist or infectious disease specialist. In fact their is a good chance I failed science class. I don’t live in fear of getting it. Salon DiCarlo asks that you wear one for the person sitting next to you who is undergoing chemo treatments. The client who has an infant and a sick parent to care for. The grandmother who is in there to relax after a long day of babysitting her unvaccinated young grandchildren. It may work, may not work but it makes them feel more comfortable. This is not about you. It’s about us. It’s just a mask.
