🌿 July’s Product of the Month (or POM) is Cypress. Cypress has an invigorating aroma that makes it great to diffuse with citrus such as Lime or Grapefruit. You can also use it along with a carrier oil for promoting healthy circulation and to prep muscles before a long hike or jog.

Did you know? It takes Cypress trees between 10 and 20 years to grow large enough to sell for timber. By using some pruned branches for essential oil, the farmers can get revenue before the 20-year mark! Pretty awesome!

This combo screams summertime!

✅ Spearmint is a powerhouse for digestion (there’s a reason it’s in our Tamer Blend), and it can be used as a surface cleaner.

Apply to a toothbrush before brushing for fresh breath
Add a drop or two to a dessert, drink, salad, or entrée for flavoring and to promote digestion.
For occasional stomach upset, add one to two drops to water and drink.
My favorite way to use Spearmint is using it with Grapefruit and making an all-surface cleaner with On Guard Concentrate. It smells heavenly and helps eradicate bad odors.

✅ Lime is so much more than an oil that can remove sticky residue (allow that is a huge perk). Lime supports the respiratory system and can support your body when congested (diffuse it with Breathe or add it to your favorite respiratory support roller and roll over your chest).

Diffuse 3 drops Lime and 2 drops Spearmint and have your airways clear and your home smelling like a tropical island.

When you inhale an essential oil, the molecules of the oil go into the back of each nostril to the epithelium patch where the molecules attach to receptors on the cilia hairs. These convert to nerves that send the odor information to the olfactory bulb in the brain. This bulb communicates directly with the amygdala, hippocampus and other brain structures.
