Well, we’ve officially had our first squall of the year! Yuck. 🌨️

This is a friendly reminder about some important things coming into the fun, winter months… ❄️

•For those who may have an early morning appointment and typically park in the Vintage Mall parking lot, if you notice that their parking lot has not been cleared of snow yet, please do not park over there. We don’t want to make their job harder by having to maneuver around parked vehicles. 🚗🚙

•As hard as we work to make sure that our lot behind the salon is clear of snow; unfortunately, with our amazing, newly concreted lot, we are not able to salt the lot. 😕 Naturally, things may be a little slick…

Please, please, please walk carefully coming into the salon.

✅Fun fact: You are not suppose to salt new concrete for the first year.
We’re following the rules given by the professionals. 🙂

Happy Monday! It’s been a minute since I’ve posted on my business page. I wanted to update everyone on my current status at the salon…
Business has been great! I’m busier than ever. I’ve had to make the hard decision to close my books to new clients. I currently have a few haircut openings left for August, but my next color options aren’t until September. I wanted to pop on to encourage my current clients to always pre-book. Especially if you only have particular days of the week or specific times that work for you. I always have a cancellation list running, and it’s a great option- but it’s even better if you have something on the books already.
This is a great problem to have, but I often feel overwhelmed when I’m unable to fit people into my schedule. I can’t encourage enough to book out a few appointments at a time. (I’m also happy to book you through the year if that’s helpful)
I appreciate you ALL!! I’m humbled by your support and the trust you put in me to take care of your hair needs. 💕✨💕✨💕

I can’t believe I’ll be seeing you all soon! Things will be different moving forward. This is to keep your safety our top priority. At this time, the girls and I at Rosegold don’t have a concrete opening date.

We are working diligently to ensure we are ready to open when we have proper guidelines in place. Once that happens, I’ll be CALLING (not texting) all of you to set up your missed appointment.

Please watch for the call. I’ll have to move on to the next appointment to reschedule everyone efficiently. I’m starting with the appointments of the people who’ve had to wait since the middle or March.

Once appointments start happening again, I’m asking for your help. I’ll need your patience above anything. I’m trying to do this fairly, but I’m only one person. 😉 I won’t be able to double book, so my days won’t be as efficient as they were able to be in the past.

I’ve refreshed my safety and sanitation education with a Barbicide course while I’ve been waiting to see you again! If you or loved ones you live with are experiencing ANY COVID symptoms, please reschedule. Let’s be safe together! Stay tuned for a date! ❤️

A little transformation I forgot to share a year ago. I’m thankful for this Timehop memory. It’s a reminder of how much I love what I do. Seeing what my new “normal” may look like from other states where salons have reopened has me discouraged.
I can’t double book (making it harder to get everyone in), people will have to wait in their cars until it’s time for their appointment to comply with social distancing, magazines must be removed, masks will be worn, and these are just a few of the new “norms” that I may have to comply with.
I need to hold on to the transformations, the connections, and the conversations that we are all struggling through this. The smiles of making someones day a little better by making them feel good about their hair.
I want to see all of you as bad as you’d like to see me! Hang in there friends! ❤️

I miss all of you! Feels like forever, right? Yesterday we all learned that the safer at home will remain until May 26th. Right now it’s unclear for our industry what that means. We may need to reopen in phases and it could be longer, and it could be sooner!
See my dilemma here? Instead of booking/rescheduling all of your appointments right now, I’ve decided to hold tight. I’m making a list. If you’ve had an appointment you had to miss, you are on the list in an order of waiting the longest. It’s the only fair way of doing this. If you have an appointment scheduled, don’t panic! It’s still there. I will be keeping all appointments as is.
I’m so thankful for all of you! Thanks for checking in. And most of all, thank you for your continued patience with all of this. We will all have crazy hair together! ❤️
