Hey Guys, just wanted to let everyone know we will be closed Thursday the 3rd- sunday the 6th for a long weekend. We will be open Monday the 7th at 9am. Sometimes a guy just needs some fishin time. Lol

We have found a GREAT addition to our team @ Rick and Daryell's!! We want to welcome Felicia Butler she is a licensed professional and does a great job! We will be apprenticing her for a few short hours and she'll be one of very few in the area to have both! Barber and cosmetology licenses!!!

Over the last 30 years i have heard some really funny jokes in the Barber Shop. So, i thought i would start sharing them with you each week. Ok, as im cutting a mans hair in the shop, we start talking about his garden. And he says, ive planted my tomatoes, and i thought i would do something different this year. I said, what was you thinking? He said, well, i thought i would raise some chickens ,but it didnt go well. I said, what happen? He said i think i planted them too deep! Lol well, thats the best joke of this week.

Well, its been 8 months since we opened the new shop. Time flies when your having fun! I just want to take a minute to thank everyone for your support. I have had an awesome 8 months. My health is getting better all the time. And my wife is getting bossier everyday ! Yes, shes feeling good too. Someone told me on tuesday what a nice shop we have. Thank you for the compliment. But, without YOU our customers, we would have nothing . So, thank you ALL very much for making this possible. Rick Perry

Hey everybody! Well, I have some news to share. As you all know, I am very thankful to be back to work. It has been a true blessing ! I hope to be your Barber till I'm 90 lol . As you all know we have been open 6 days a week. Our intentions were to have hired at least 1 other Barber by now, but we've went 7 months with no luck. So we have made the painful decision to close on Saturdays. We looked at all other options before making this decision. I want my health to continue getting better, and working 6 days a week is just too much for me now. I realize it will be inconvenient for some of you, and I apologize. We will continue to be open Mon-Fri 9-6 . Thank you all for your support. Rick

Thru all the excitement of the new baby we don't want to forget...Today is our oldest son Brett's birthday!!!!! Happy birthday son we love you sooooo much!!!
