As I celebrate another year, I’m also reflecting on the journey of building my small business. The years haven’t always been easy, but they have been incredibly rewarding. Every challenge, lesson, client, and milestone has helped shape me into the woman I am today.

Working for myself has taught me resilience, patience, confidence, and the importance of believing in a dream long before others can see it. Looking back, I’m grateful for every step of the journey and excited for all that’s still to come.

Everyone meet Bibi my mama!
She is my inspiration/warrior, her & I moved to United States when I was 6 years old. Learning a new language, adapting to new country, family was definitely not easy. She knew it would take time, but at the end the hard work was well worth it, because we are safe & better place.
When I first started my lash journey it all started because I was planning to go back home for three months to “reconnect with me family” but God had an additional plan I didn’t know/plan. I was serving at the time paying way through school/travels. Until they took me off the schedule, I truly didn’t like the feeling of money over my shoulders dangling by management. Especially when I’m planning to go back home for three months to learn more about myself.
Right then & there I contacted my cousin to find me an instructor. Told her I will learn a trade during my three months in Kazakhstan, which ended up being Individual lash extensions. During the three months of training, I already knew my business name & my business motto/slogan.
Bibi Beauty Lashes - Bibi stands for Bibigul my mama’s name. I ask myself how can I ever repay my mama for all that she has sacrificed for me?
The best way to repay her is by having a business in her name in the country she brought me to which is also known for the “American dream” where anything is possible ✨
