This week has been bitter sweet as we closed the doors of Southern Roots officially, a little sooner than we hoped. I have had the best almost four years + I don’t even know how many 😉 with my friend and business partner, Sam. Samantha PhiferI’m so thankful because of Southern Roots I gained another sweet friend in you, Hannah. Hannah Russell Smith I’ve enjoyed working beside you both and wish you awesome hairstylist the very best! ❤️ ps. I need my hair done.. like... yesterday. 😬

As I knew it would, one door closes and another opens, and I am so stinking excited it did! I will now be working from a salon at my house! YES! Right by my home!! I’m so thankful the Lord has given me this opportunity to make the best of my two favorite worlds! Family and Hair! Allred-y Salon is located by my house not in my laundry room as some thought.. 😜🤣 I can’t wait for you guys to see it and enjoy a relaxing appointment! Thank you so much to all my loving clients for the encouragement and support during this location change! I’m ready to get you guys “Allred-y”😘

We’ve had the best couple of days in the salon. I feel like everyone is trying to make the best of the hand we’ve been dealt at this time! Thank you so much for that! As frustrating and inconvenient as this is try to remember it’s for all our safety in the salon as well as a community as a whole. In saying that,I wanted to remind our clients of the safety precautions and guidelines we are to follow in the salon at this time. (These are set by our Governor and State Board of Cosmetology) We have tried to remember to send these out as your appt comes up but in case we forget!

⭐️ Stylist and clients have to wear a mask.(please, please remember to bring one with you)

⭐️One client is allowed at a time per stylist.

⭐️Multiple families members will need to come in
one in one out. Our waiting area is closed at this time.

⭐️Please wait in your vehicle or on the porch until your stylist waves you in. We are sanitizing between each and every client so that takes a few minutes.

⭐️We will be taking your temperature at the door.

⭐️If you have any symptoms of Covid-19 please reschedule your appt. for a later date. We can’t be too careful at this time.

⭐️If possible try to bring the minimum items in with you. Keys, phone, method of payment.

We are trying our very best to keep ourselves safe and you as our clients as well!! We are alternating days we work to minimize the number of people in the salon and keep a 6ft distance. With the guidelines and changes to our schedule we are running slower than normal and we apologize for that. You have all been so patient, understanding and most of all thoughtful. It truly means so very much to us! We hope that you can enjoy your time at Southern Roots and feel as safe as possible! We love you all and only want the best!
