Somehow the whole world is a little more quiet. Nothing seems real 💔 I keep thinking I’m going to wake up from this. The overwhelming feeling of having so much support but being so alone. My Dad and I have built a very unique and beautiful relationship over the years that at one time in my life I didn’t think we would ever have the chance to share. I can’t believe that’s all the time we get. I can’t believe God chose to take him from me. I don’t know how to feel and I can’t begin to say thank you to all the people who have been there for us over the last few days. My Dad John Shaffer wasn’t the type of person you forget and we are going to be having a benefit sometime in the near future to honor the man he was and the man he was becoming. Thank you for all of your texts and calls and DONATIONS! I’m sorry if I do not respond I just cannot talk to anyone right now I need time alone. I woke up really feeling like my Dad left such an impact on the people in his life and I feel so blessed to be his daughter.
