okay so admittedly I forgot to film anything from our first session🫣BUT WE GOT SOOO MUCH RED OUT!!

let me catch you up to speed: my lovely birthday twin here has been a deep, dark red velvet color since I first started doing her hair over four years ago!!! she messaged me awhile back about wanting to go closer to her natural with blonde dimension. we talked a LOT about making sure we keep her hair healthy and long through this process, so we’re taking it low and slow babey😎
the first session we focused on breaking up as much pigment as possible and getting some of the red to budge. she left with her hair definitely lighter, but still VERY red.
and after the second session 🥁🥁🥁 WE GOT BROWN AND SOME DIMENSION🥳🥳🥳which is a HUGE WIN! we are breaking through yearsssss of DARK and RED pigment, so seeing some subtle dimension and a warmer, natural brown, made me so so happy🥹
