Last night, lost an absolute LEGEND . New Britain lost a LEGEND. Maurice Robinson AKA Moe, Moses, Mr. Maurice, M-Holla, whatever you knew him as, he may be physically gone from here, but FOREVER in our HEARTS. If you are from New Britain or any of the surrounding towns, Moe probably cut you, your dad, your grandfather and possibly your great grandfather. Working beside someone for 26 years it’s almost inevitable that you become FAMILY, that you develop a bond that is unbreakable, that you know what each other are thinking before the words can be said, finishing each other sentences constantly. That’s the chemistry we all had with Moe at Blaze Barber Shop. He was one of a kind and a social butterfly inside and outside of the shop. He could make anyone feel comfortable. For those who know us, we service a multicultural, super diverse clientele, and he appealed to everyone, treating them ALL like FAMILY, and Making them all smile with a GREAT haircut. He was confined to the hospital for the past two months, but he wanted all of you to know that he LOVED y’all and was fighting to get back healthy to the shop so he could see you guys and take care of you guys. Unfortunately, he lost that fight. Thank all of YOU who, called, texted and visited him. Moe i thank you personally for all your dedication to Blaze Barber Shop, you were there 7 days a week (literally) A REAL BARBER loves what they do and is TRULY committed to their craft. I also thank you for always cutting my Dad and ANY of my family without taking a dollar. My apologies to our LOYAL clients/Blaze Familia who have been inconvenienced by Moe’s absence/passing but Sometimes we think we have plans and God has a better and bigger plan. Our hearts go out to his Mom and family, ESPECIALLY the LOVE of his life Stasia Gray Milton. REST IN PEACE MOE, WE LOVE YOU 🖤

Happy 19th Birthday to my daughter .ig A parent’s job is to prepare their child for life after i leave this Earth. Everything worth having is challenging and difficult at times, but i love you and try my absolute best everyday to make sure you’re good when I’m no longer here. Watching you open your birthday gift like you were a kid again, was priceless to me…I hope you enjoy your day!!❤️❤️

Blaze Barber Shop, Today makes it 25 YEARS that our community/ANYONE has been able to say those 3 words together. I THANK GOD First for making this and ALL things possible. As always we are eternally grateful. We also thank our LOYAL supporters and patrons who CONTINUE to choose US!! It’s nearly impossible to put into words the amount of gratitude I have for my city, embracing us as their number one barber shop. Over the years so many customers,have turned to friends and family. The entire crew at Blaze has actual blood relatives,family members, and “so-called friends” who DON’T choose US and honestly it DISGUSTS me, so when we say THANK YOU and call you FAMILY, we MEAN it! I need everyone to help me wish my mommy a Happy 60th Birthday. 60 is an incredible milestone and I am grateful to have you here for it. I may not call you every day or see you every day as i should. But i understand that a mother‘s love is unconditional and I know you always have my best interest at heart even when I don’t wanna hear what you’re saying. I may not be as reliant on you as my siblings, but that’s because I’m the oldest and you’ve raised me well. I also have a lot of your mother in me (Mattie Dotson Turner) AKA Momo, and I think I can always do everything on my own. Stubbornness is hereditary.
