💗 Okay friends, I need your help! 💗

A few of you have asked how you can help support our Hello Gorgeous! of HOPE Inc affiliate program at Feels Like Home Salon, and I finally have a BIG way you can help!

We are in the beginning stages of planning our first Gorgeous Gala for our past Hello Gorgeous makeover recipients, their nominators and families. 🥹💗

My biggest hope for this event is to bring these amazing people back together for a night where they can connect, celebrate, laugh, share their stories and just be surrounded by people who get it.

We are tentatively looking at a Saturday in November and I’m starting to put together all the moving pieces that go into making something like this happen.

I’d LOVE to find local businesses and people willing to donate their time, services or talents so we can put as much of the money raised as possible back into the Hello Gorgeous mission.

Right now I’m looking for recommendations for:

I’m not expecting one person or business to do it all. If we can get a bunch of people willing to donate one small piece, together we can create something really special without taking away from what we’re trying to raise.

💗✨ MEET SAVANNAH & STARLA ✨💗

Today’s Hello Gorgeous! of HOPE Inc! makeover turned into something a little extra special… because sometimes one makeover just isn’t enough. 🥹

17-year-old Savannah nominated her mom, Starla, to receive a Hello Gorgeous! makeover after Starla was diagnosed with breast cancer.

But there was a little twist…

Savannah and Starla share a phone, so when I reached out about the nomination, Mom found out what her daughter had done. And instead of wanting the day for herself, Starla immediately wanted to give her makeover to Savannah. 💕

Why? Because while Starla may be the one physically fighting cancer, she knows her daughter has been fighting right alongside her; watching her mom go through treatments, carrying the worry, and experiencing all the emotions that come with loving someone through cancer.

That told us everything we needed to know.

So we decided they BOTH deserved to feel gorgeous. ✨

Neither of them knew what we had planned until they showed up at Feels Like Home Salon today!

And let me tell you… these two are a FORCE. 💪🏼💗

The energy. The laughter. The love. The gratitude. The bond between them was absolutely contagious.

They truly are besties for the resties, and their mother-daughter relationship was such a beautiful thing to witness. They nurture each other, protect each other, laugh together, and clearly love each other fiercely.

Cancer may have entered their story, but today cancer didn’t get to be the main character.

Today was about JOY.
Today was about LOVE.
Today was about feeling beautiful.
Today was about letting both of these incredible ladies feel like the stars they are. ⭐️

We were so blessed to be a small part of their story and to remind them that neither one of them is walking this journey alone.

This is why we do what we do through Hello Gorgeous! of HOPE at Feels Like Home Salon, to help restore some of what cancer tries to take away. 💗
