Get Buzzed & Beautiful is officially closed for business.
I thank you all for 6 years of your love, loyalty and support.
Thank you for your well wishes to our family, as we make our journey to South Carolina to begin our new chapter.

It has been my pleasure to serve this community. Thank you for welcoming this suburban gal to the country, and making my little salon on the corner such a success.

A message to my clients:
I am trying to contact each person, but that task is proving to be nearly impossible!
Let me start by saying THANK YOU.
Thank you for 6 years of love, loyalty, and support.
I have gotten to know so many of you, and your children. You have sent me your friends, brothers, and fathers.
I have had a waiting list of 3 hours at the beginning of school, and a line of boys waiting to get freshened up for the prom. And then they come back for me to buzz it all off before heading to boot camp. And when they return, they come in to say hello and give me a hug. I did your wedding hair and rejoiced with your positive pregnancy test. I gave those babies their first haircut.
I sat and cried with you as I retouched your color for your mom's funeral.
You have shared secrets with me that will never leave my heart or lips. Those are the things I hold most sacred.
And you, in turn, held my hand and kept me going when I needed it most.

My husband has been offered a life changing job opportunity that will relocate our family to Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. It has become one of our favorite vacation spots over the years, and to receive this opportunity is a dream come true!
We will be leaving the state at the end of June. The sale of my building will be finalized next week, and I won't be moving into the new space, as originally planned.

Serving this community over the past 6 years has been an honor.
It saved me. You all gave me something to look forward to every day. Seeing your faces, hearing your stories, welcoming you into the space I created for YOU saved me.

My final day in business will be Next Thursday, May 26.
The shop will be open regular hours next week up until then.
For haircuts, hugs, and goodbyes.
Bring tissues.

Half day for Mohawk, you know what that means!!
