In my family we have a lot of people in the medical profession Nurses, Director Of Nursing, Radiologist, Nurse Administratior you could say we love healthcare, And pretty soon a medical doctor,. One benefit is being able to draw on each others professional knowledge for support, guidance and ways to succeed in the field. I have been lucky to be surrounded by family mentors but when it all said and done burnout in this field is very real. When you are constantly giving of yourself for hours on end at the end of the day you can feel like you have nothing left to give especially to yourself. Having a good work life balance is so important especially for people in our profession. These are some very good tips that I have used in my everyday life and I hope you find benefit in it also.
