Word Down Syndrome Day 2025 💙💛

World Down Syndrome Day is marked each year on March 21.
The 21st day of March (the 3rd month of the year) was selected to signify the uniqueness of the triplication of the 21st chromosome which causes Down syndrome.

It's a day to bring awareness to the world around understanding what Down syndrome is but also understanding what people with Down syndrome contribute and what they give back to the community and what they're capable of doing.
