HOW DOES STRESS AFFECT THE SKIN?

Stress causes the brain to react by causing it to produce more cortisol. This hormone is known to break down collagen in the skin, resulting in wrinkles. Chronic stress makes wrinkles more noticeable, making the skin dull, dry and tired.
