What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost…?
(1 Corinthians 6:19)

I would to God every Christian would grasp the import and profundity of what we just read in our opening verse! In the preceding verse 16, the apostle Paul quoted God’s promise in the Old Testament to indwell man and the ensuing fulfilment of that promise. He said, *“…for ye are the temple of the living God; as God hath said, I will dwell in them, and walk in them; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.”*

What a blessing; what glory it is to have the Holy Spirit in our lives today! He’s the greatest blessing of all; your greatest advantage. He knows everything and owns everything. Having Him in you means you’re made for life. He’s all you need to be everything God destined you to be and fulfil your destiny in life and in the Gospel.

1 Corinthians 2:12 says, *“Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.”* Without Him, you can’t know all that God has blessed and endowed you with in Christ. There’re blessings and benefits from God for you every day (Psalm 68:19, Matthew 6:11, Luke 11:3). The Holy Spirit guides you into those blessings and sees to it that you enjoy them.

Live every day with the consciousness that you’re indeed the temple of the Holy Spirit. He’ll perfect His work and ministry in your life. He’s the Spirit of grace; He’s the Spirit of excellence. His joy is to make your life excellent and full of glory; to perfect everything that concerns you.

The Holy Spirit in you is your assurance for an extraordinary life of victory, dominion, abundance and infinite possibilities. He’s the power and glory of your life. Become more conscious of Him; of His presence in you. In you abides all the graces, blessings, wisdom and goodness of heaven, because the Holy Spirit lives in you. Therefore, live from within. Praise God!

I walk with the Spirit of God and I dwell in the glorious and higher realms of life, far removed from death, defeat, destruction, sickness, poverty, and failure. My eyes of understanding are enlightened; I see the invisible and I’m empowered to do the impossible. My life goes only in the direction of God’s purpose; therefore, I’ll never be sick in life. I can only grow from strength to strength, for divinity has been activated in my body. The life of Christ in me makes me superhuman! I recognize the divine ability, efficiency, and might that are at work in me today. By virtue of the divine life of Christ in me, every cell of my blood, every bone of my body, and every organ in me is invigorated; no infirmity can fasten itself to my body, and all things are possible unto me. Christ lives in me and I function with this consciousness every day. Sickness, poverty, death, lack, failure, depression, and everything that’s not of God have no hold over my life. Daily, I express divine and supernatural verities in my spirit, soul, and body. I am not bound by the principles of the world because I hail from Zion – the heavenly kingdom – where sickness, disease, death, or any form of darkness do not exist. I am an effective and efficient ambassador for God’s Kingdom and I dispense divine health realities to all I encounter. I dwell in the safety and peaceful habitation of the Almighty; a place of glory, dominion and everlasting joy, where I reign and rule with Christ over circumstances. I can do all things by the power of God’s Spirit that strengthens me. In Him, I live, move, and have my being. I am complete in Christ who is the head of all principality and power, and in Him, I am blessed beyond measure and lifted above everything that ordinary men suffer, in Jesus Name. Amen.

TOPIC: LIVING IN THE VICTORY OF CHRIST

Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us (Romans 8:35-37).

Life may be filled with adversities, but the Word says you’re more than a conqueror through Christ. This should give you comfort, peace and joy. You’re living in the victory of Christ. He assured us of victory over crises and challenges when He said, "These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulations: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world” (John 16:33).

The Bible says in 1 John 4:4, "Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world." You’ve been lifted over and above the corrupting influences of this world.

Our opening scripture states clearly that neither tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, peril nor sword could separate you from the love of God. Then it concludes by saying you’re more than a conqueror. Being more than a conqueror means you conquered in Christ before the foundation of the earth. Hallelujah! There’s nothing to struggle with or try to overcome anymore. When He arose from the grave a victor and a champion, you were in Him.

Don't allow the circumstances of life make you a victim. You were born into the victorious life in Christ: “Now thanks be unto God, which always causeth us to triumph in Christ, and maketh manifest the savour of his knowledge by us in every place” (2 Corinthians 2:14).

CONFESSION
Now thanks be unto God who always causes me to triumph in Christ and make manifest the savour of His knowledge in every place! Thank you Father, for my victorious life in Christ! I live in triumph over circumstances, in total fulfillment, joy, glory and dominion, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.

_*Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered (Romans 8:26).*_

If as a Christian, you’ve come to a point in your life where it seems everything is now a drag, you don’t seem to be making the kind of progress you desire or that’s expected, there’s a way out! Maybe you’ve even tried everything you know to do, but there’s still no commensurate progress, don’t be frustrated. You can have a complete turnaround today.

First, understand that life is spiritual and except you operate from the realm of the Spirit, you can’t achieve meaningful success. Our opening verse lets us know that we can take charge of our lives and situations from the realm of the Spirit by praying in the Spirit.

When we pray in tongues, the Spirit Himself gives us utterance in spiritual vocabulary. Beyond this utterance in tongues, we have deep sighs or groanings as in the opening verse: _*“Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered”*_ (Romans 8:26).

This is a better and higher way to pray. When you’re faced with serious crises in your life, it may get to the point where you don’t know or have words with which to express yourself or deal with the situation. At that point, you might want to just get on the floor before the Lord, in absolute dependence on the Holy Spirit, until He takes over for you. Hallelujah!

With these groanings, the Holy Spirit makes intercession for you and God’s people. You can learn and train yourself in this by giving more time and attention to prayer; yielding yourself to God. These are Kingdom secrets given to us from the Word, for us to live victoriously in life. Glory to God!

*PRAYER*

*Thank you, precious Holy Spirit, for being my peculiar atmosphere and advantage in life. You’ve made my life so different and beautiful. I rule and dominate my world with the atmosphere of joy, peace, success and victory, in Jesus’ Name. Amen.*
