Using my hands as well as my heart, I help my clients relax and manage their stressful lifestyles as much as possible.
I specialize in working with clients who experience pain in their necks or backs. Often the culprit is a muscular imbalance brought on by an injury, poor posture, or too much time sitting. I help relax tired, over stressed muscles that are pulling bones out of alignment and bring them back to a more natural, healthy and flexible state. You'll be surprised how quickly we can work together to make measurable improvements and get you feeling better. I am well rounded Massage Therapist from being a CNA working with elderly patients to working with minors as I am a licensed coach and even assisting the Iowa State Basketball players reach their highest potential during their season! A few specialties of mine include; Deep Tissue, Swedish, Maternity, Sports Massage, Hot Stone. I went to school for Massage Therapy in Cedar Falls at La James International College. After graduating I wanted to expand my knowledge and go back to school to become a Physical Therapy Assistant; which was a two-year program at Hawkeye Community College in Waterloo. At this time, I am diligently studying to take my licensing boards. I am very eager to show each and every one of you the benefits of massage therapy!

All remaining gift certificates purchased for gifts must be bought through me (Kalyn) and the person you are buying the gift certificate for MUST have an appt on the schedule, due to being short staffed. Thanks for understanding.
Important information:
Due to being short a therapist and the overwhelming support to Relaxation and Remedies I will NOT be ordering anymore gift certificates. Yes, I know this is super inconvenient especially come holidays when they make great gifts. This is not a permanent thing, hopefully just until we find another therapist. I do have some gift certificates left so if this is something you’re interested in, please reach out and we can make some accommodations for you.
Rory has decided to take a step away from Massage Therapy. If you have an appointment with her I will reach out to you or feel free to reach out to me. Sorry for this inconvenience, but know we are looking for another therapist so any insights please send my way.
At this time, we are not accepting any new 3:00 or after massage appointments due to being down one therapist, Wendy and I’s three or afters are fully booked until further notice. Thank you for understanding.
Due to unforeseen circumstance, Rory has had some unexpected shoulder issues come up leaving her unable to work for a minimum of 6 weeks. I will be reaching out to you all that are on her books. Please give me grace as Wendy and I are fully booked through March. Please understand that this is out of all of our hands and we will work with the situation that is given.
We have received more gift certificates, if you are still in need, shoot me a text and we can set up a time for pick up.
