As an Esthetician, I’ve struggled with acne throughout most of my teenage years and well into my twenties. It’s one of the reasons I’m so passionate about treating acne and continuing to expand my knowledge on it today.

Acne is a chronic inflammatory skin condition that develops when pores become clogged with oil, dead skin cells, and sometimes bacteria. The “why” behind acne looks different for everyone. Hormones, stress, PCOS, genetics, and lifestyle habits can all play a role.

Well it’s easy to pick at yourself, always remember that your skin does not define who you are!!
