Being physically active helps reduce risks for cardiovascular diseases.
Center for Disease Control and Prevention(CDC) recommends that adults engage in at least 150 minutes of moderate to intense physical activity each week, such as 30 minutes a day and 5 days a week. Such exercises include running, brisk walking, jogging, lawn mowing, etc.
Again, 2 days of muscle strengthening, such as weight lifting, digging a garden, etc, should be part of exercising to work on all major muscle groups.
