The Governor has set phase 2 for reopening for all personal services which includes day spas, electrology, estheticians, floating, piercing, spa, tanning, waxing, tattoo, massage therapy, nail technicians & eyelash technicians for June 17th. Please find attached the rules from the Governor regarding the reopening for your establishment.

Unfortunately we have just heard from Governor Lamont that the reopening of salons has been delayed until the beginning of June.The definition of salons from the CT Department of Public Health includes hair, nails, facials, waxing, tanning, and eyelash extensions.

This is unfortunate after all your hard work this past week to get ready to reopen on Wednesday. Please know the Health Department is here to help you through this process and if you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact us.

As soon as we get updates we will pass them along to you.
