Participating in the AAOS Annual Meeting 2026 in New Orleans has been a great opportunity to follow the latest advances in orthopedics and reconnect with colleagues from around the world.
It was also a pleasure to reconnect with Eduardo Malavolta, Head of the Shoulder and Elbow Group at the Instituto de Ortopedia e Traumatologia da USP and current president of the Sociedade Brasileira de Cirurgia do Ombro e Cotovelo.
Moments like this reinforce how valuable international meetings are for strengthening professional relationships and advancing orthopedic surgery.
