🌟 ANNOUNCEMENT UPDATE 🌟

Babybangz will remain open throughout the month of August as we transition into this next chapter.

You can continue to book appointments with me at http://Babybangz.com, and I will still be offering my full service menu throughout the month.

If you’d like to continue your hair journey with your current stylist, August is the perfect time to connect with them, discuss your future appointments and make a plan moving forward. I encourage you to support the stylist you’ve built a relationship with as they begin their own independent journeys as well.

On September 1, I’ll officially begin my independent chapter. I’ll continue offering my full natural hair service menu in my new private space, which I’ll be announcing very soon.

Thank you for being part of the Babybangz story. This month is about celebrating everything we’ve built together while looking forward to an exciting new beginning.

As I prepare to celebrate 10 years of Babybangz, I come to realize something powerful:
I have accomplished exactly what I set out to do—and so much more.

What started as a dream to educate women about their natural hair and create opportunities for stylists became a space for healing, creativity, confidence, and community. Together, we built something far greater than a salon, and I will forever be grateful.

With that gratitude comes clarity.

After much reflection, I’ve decided to close Babybangz Natural Hair Salon in its current form and transition into a more private, intimate salon experience while expanding my work as an artist and creative.

This isn’t goodbye to hair...it’s an evolution. 😌

I’ll continue serving my clients in a more personalized setting while creating space for the exhibitions, storytelling, and creative work that have been calling me forward.

To every client, stylist, friend, family member, and supporter: thank you for believing in this vision and growing with me over the last decade. You helped shape not only Babybangz, but the woman and artist I’ve become.

New Orleans, thank you for 10 unforgettable years. The next chapter is just beginning. 🩷
