The science behind it all and the takeaway messages for “The Cities Edition” are wrapped up in Chapter 3 (of 3) for the Spring 2026 Issue!

(This article is the final chapter of the full 3 chapter Feature Story of MANiCURE. Magazine’s Spring 2026 Issue: “The Cities Edition”.)

This chapter, Bringing it Home, discusses the science behind a city and, not only how a city can impact us, but why & in what ways—and this science doesn’t only apply to cities, it also applies to family lines and hometowns. Resonance, the principles of sound, and energy are at the root of it all… and understanding this can help us leverage these tools to make positive changes in our health, lifestyle, and reality.

Enjoy reading “Chapter 3: Bringing It Home” (after Chapter 1: Charleston and Chapter 2: Chicago to get the full story).

Chapter 2 (of 3) for “The Cities Edition”: Chicago

This article is the second chapter of the full 3 chapter Feature Story of MANiCURE. Magazine’s Spring 2026 Issue: “The Cities Edition”.

This chapter discusses the unexpected— that no matter how much you prepare, life will always throw you a curveball— and that by matching the energy of the city instead of bracing against it can help you identify hidden parts of yourself reflective of that energy: resilience, acceptance, and fun along the way (oh, and of course, some Chicago deep-dish pizza and St. Patrick’s Day experiences throughout).

Chapter 1 (of 3) for “The Cities Edition”: Charleston

This article is the first chapter and kickoff article for the full 3 chapter Feature Story of MANiCURE. Magazine’s Spring 2026 Issue: “The Cities Edition”.

It kicks off a mindset shift and identity being challenged by environment, time period, and… yourself. And that maybe the way we identify with ourselves, only requires a frequency shift—a change in our energy that can be inspired by a city, a place, or even by something unexpected: a song that comes on, a building when you turn the corner, or even an indulgent sandwich and coffee.

ASHLEY LONGSHORE | “I cried a lot, when I was little, and I would lock myself in my bathroom and look in the mirror and cry. And I think what I really gained from feeling like I didn’t fit in, feeling like a freak, feeling like I hate this… I really learned to have a strong, inner monologue that is, ‘You can do this, everything’s going to be alright. You got this girl.’ So, instead of beating myself up, I do the exact opposite of that…. Instead, I find something that I love about myself, and I focus on that, and then I go out and, you know, conquer, if I can.”

Ashley Longshore started out in life being told who to be, how to act, and what to think… and she was NOT having it. In fact, she went in the exact opposite direction… and prevailed. Her decision to belong early on gave her the power to override city & cultural influences—to work hard and earn her way to the top—not just by disregarding the rules of the game, but by creating a brand new one. And, as a result, becoming a type of Wonder Woman on her own. This new game is built on a different declaration—one she paints, bedazzles, and shares with all of us, to remind us that whatever city we’re in—no matter where we come from—wherever we go, there we are. Because, when you choose to belong to yourself, you drop the need to fit in—and this makes you more powerful than any city, any family line, and any societal program designed to hold you back.

An inspiring, powerful human being, Ashley shares her story with us in “THE WONDER WOMAN IN THE MIRROR: Ashley Longshore’s Decision to Belong” in the Spring 2026 “The Cities Edition” Cover Story of MANiCURE. Magazine. It’s one you do NOT want to miss!

TAMICA LEE | “I don’t know who needs to hear this,” she interjects, “but it’s always okay to change course. Take a hard left. Do something different. I’ve been married for 22 years, and I feel like he’s married to ten people in that span because I’m always a different person. I’ve worn so many hats. And then sometimes, when you’re in the course of it, you’re like, ‘What am I doing? This feels stupid.’ You just got to keep going. That also is very important. The cycles of life, you know?”

Tamica Lee has always been in the spotlight. But off stage, the way she has interpreted her own life and the lessons she’s garnered: the grit, belief in self, taking chances, believing in yourself, doing the hard work, breaking & honoring family cycles, acceptance… is all something we can learn from.

A beautiful & resilient human being, Tamica shares her story with us in “A REAL LOOK AT TAMICA LEE: What You Don’t Know About Her Life, Legacy—And The Lessons We Can Learn From” in the Winter 2026 Cover Story of MANiCURE. Magazine. It’s one you do not want to miss.
