My last entry,
It’s representative of women & how we are viewed in society. Beauty is at the forefront. Imperfect & perfect. Much of the beauty you see in this world is because, or created by women. Yet time & time again, we are objectified. We are silenced- Victims are not believed or are swept under the rug. We’re the butt of a joke. Our accomplishments don’t mean as much as a mans do. We are expected to be strong when we are in pain, but to not be emotional. We are the ones expected to sacrifice and never complain.

I love being in an industry dominated by women. Most of us understand these things as fact and in turn, understand the importance of uplifting each other. (It’s the foundation of what we do behind the chair!) That’s why I love BTC- Celebrating thousands of talented artists in one room, because we as women, in an industry that breeds jealousy, need to celebrate eachother always ✨

It’s BTC entry timeeee🔥

After entering some of my all-time favorite looks last year, I went home knowing I had to go bolder & better this year, especially for an editorial big shot category. It’s a risk doing the make up on myself. I am not a model by any means. But I enjoy the freedom I have when the canvas is my own. I called in to capture the makeup with a professional photography eye. & I’m proud of what we were able to bring to life. This is the first of 3 entries & I’m so excited!! ❤️

2025, that’s a wrap🎉
Here are a few things I’ve learned behind the chair this year:
Comfort is key- whether that be jeans & a tshirt or setting boundaries & saying no when you have to
Sharing about my life is cool ! & many want to celebrate your accomplishments with you.
Everyone’s struggling. Emotionally, financially, day to day struggles, or everything combined. Be kind, but also nobody’s in it alone.
An in person referral to a friend goes so much farther than an Instagram reel ever will. So thank you if you referred me to anyone this year. I’ve gained some amazing clients this way & it doesn’t go unnoticed. If you do this please let me know, I’d love to give you something sweet as a thank you.
& because of all this^ thank you for sharing a bit of your 2025 with me. If it was an hour or 2 hours every 6 weeks. Every bit counts & is so appreciated. ❤️ here’s to 2026✨
