For the longest time I was not the main character in my story . I was letting other people dictate my life because I had no boundaries. I wasn’t aware of the choices I could make . It wasn’tuntil I stopped abandoning my self , became more aware and reached a higher level of consciousness that I took charge of my life was able to transform my self .

Lyric of the day : people like to talk but won’t run their own race . 🔥🔥🔥
Generational trauma = grandma and grandma being raised by their parents …. Not being showed love like they should , and how to meet their needs . Grandma Grandpa have kids . They have no idea how to show their child love and affection , to manage emotions bc their parents didn’t show them = now those kids grow up and have kids and repeat the same cycle . Nothing will change Until someone wakes up, decides to educate them selves and their child to love better , meet needs better and educate them selves along with their child so they can stop 🛑Generational trauma and heal the family . Authoritative parenting is why a lot of parents have no idea how to parent other then shame, blame , fear and control . So what are other parenting styles ? I am not a fan of gentle parenting . I am a fan of a form of Conscious parenting . If you have any other forms drop them below. Let’s start educating 🫶
*Connection before Correction
*validation whether you agree or not it’s still their reality
* listening with out talking unless it’s asking questions to better understand or validate feelings
* ask , ask and ask more questions to get them to try and understand what they could have done differently
*breath work is so important! It helps train their body how to shift from fight or flight (ANS) to parasympathetic ( rest and digest )
* if you or child is upset give time to calm down, calm down and address again . Explain why . Stop expecting kids to just know ! Their brains do not work like that . If any of this stuff hit home DM me and I would love to share some podcasts with you !

Mindset matters ! I want to help you . I suffered from a fixed mindset for so long with little to no awareness … to a stressed enhanced mindset to a growth mindset . What topics do you want to learn about to help change something your frustrated with or want to learn more about to grow . Some of my topics are ,parenting teen podcasts, attachment theory , psychology, functional medicine, neuroscience, trauma healing, trauma work. All of this has helped me regain control of my life , it brought my self to a whole other form of awareness which I think is so important. For the longest time i have been in survival mode and not the MAIN CHARACTER in my life .

If an organism is stuck in survival mode its energies are focused on fighting off unseen enemies. For humans it means as long as the mind is defending itself against invisible assaults , our closest bonds are threatened, along with our ability to to imagine, plan , play, learn and pay attention to other peoples needs.

Ok my new favorite obsession is this podcast! IF you aren’t familiar with how some food causes neurological degeneration you need to check this podcast out . Over 60% of the S.A.D ( 😔Standard American diet ) calories are obtained from Ultra processed food . The average American eats 160 pounds of sugar a day ! 44 year olds should not be dying of cancer !

The moment we are born how are needs are met, how we are made to feel safe by our caretakers and people we are in relationships with .
The brain is built to seek pleasure and avoid pain. 95% of what we do, how we think is all done by our subconscious. Only 5% of what we do is conscious.
Understanding this among other things like ego , attachment theory , object and emotional permanence is a great way to start your healing/awakening journey.

Meal prep . White rice cooked in organic bone broth ( chicken and beef for added protein) . Seasoned lean protein . Beef , chicken and shrimp cooked in a healthy fat which is olive oil . Steamed veggies . You have your
Smart carb , lean protein , healthy fat and veggies . All portioned and ready to go for my mans busy 50 hr week at work . We tagged teamed this and took about an hour . You can sub out the rice for any smart carb ( 1/2) cup or cupped handful portioned.
Parenting is hard . I had a moment this weekend . I’m all for conscious parenting now that I am educated. It’s getting in the habit of not talking until everyone is emotionally calm and breathing .
Hi guys I haven’t been able to be in here much . I took in a friend from a situation and things have been hectic . I haven’t had time do any of the topics yet that I want too but stay tuned !
