As a full time entrepreneur and first time commercial space owner - this has been a journey! I decided to share in real time my progress and where I am in my process of building the space of my dreams.
We get so caught up in what we want, when we want it that we sometimes overlook and underestimate the reality of situations. This past month has been hell, not because I’m not grateful but because I feel like I’ve made no progress and have almost had my building for an entire year. My credit coach checked in on me this week and I said “I can’t see the light at the end of the tunnnel”
I paid a “contractor” for a full rehab, they gave me a proposal, broke the process down and quoted me for labor and materials. I paid the first phase and guess what? They scammed me! Gave me the run around for a month, promised to have the job done in 4 days blah blah blah - A MESS. And refusing to refund me. Is it because I’m a woman?!! Men are losers 😂 just poor. Lesson learned, even though this was an expensive lesson!
Set back after set back, almost a year in…BUT I thought about where I was a year ago and I was literally praying for what I currently have - and that was enough for me.
Moral of my little story, just because it’s hard doesn’t mean it’s not happening. Just because you have set backs doesn’t mean you won’t move forward. Just because it didn’t happen in a timely manner doesn’t mean it won’t happen at all.

I am beyond grateful to still be able to maintain my lifestyle, pay my bills, fund my project, service my clientele, and find solutions to my problems even if my problems feel like they can’t be solved.
