21+ YEARS OF MASSAGE THERAPY 🤍✨

Sometimes I stop and think about what an incredible blessing it has been to do what I do for more than 21 years.

People see massage therapy as relaxation. Maybe a sore back, tight shoulders, or a little self-care.

But for me, it has always been so much more than that.

I have had the honor of working with people who have beaten cancer, helping support them through recovery and watching them rebuild their strength and reconnect with their bodies.

I've massaged women throughout their pregnancies and then watched their babies grow into children… and those children grow into teenagers graduating high school. 🥹

I've worked with people who came to me in chronic pain, sometimes barely functioning, and I've watched them transform over time.

And then there are the moments I'll never forget.

When a client looks at me and says:

“Because of you, I was able to get off this medication.”

“Because of you, I was able to avoid certain surgery.”

Those words mean EVERYTHING to me.

I've had clients tell me that because of my work, my recommendations, and my referrals, they were able to reduce medications, come off certain medications completely, and avoid surgeries they once thought they would need.

I've watched people go from living in chronic pain to coming in simply for maintenance because they're FEELING GOOD.

They followed their regimen.
They listened to their bodies.
They made themselves a priority.

And I got to be part of that transformation.

That is the part of being a massage therapist that people don't always understand.

For more than two decades, I've been trusted with people's bodies, their pain, their pregnancies, their recoveries, their fears, their celebrations, and their stories.

I've watched families grow.

I've watched people heal.

I've watched children grow up.

I've watched people get their lives back.

And somewhere along the way, so many of my clients stopped feeling like clients.

They became family.

There are people I've known for years and years. People whose lives I've watched unfold right on my massage table. People who have trusted my hands, my intuition, my knowledge, and my guidance through so many different chapters of their lives.

I don't think people understand just how BLESSED I feel to have a career like this.

To be able to make a living doing something I genuinely love.

To help people feel better.

To help people move better.

To help people understand their bodies.

To witness transformations that I know I'll carry with me for the rest of my life.

21+ years later, I can say with absolute certainty that massage therapy wasn't just a career I chose.

It was a calling.

And every person who has ever trusted me enough to climb onto my table has been a part of that calling.
